No Stone Left Alone

One initiative that has been especially meaningful to me is No Stone Left Alone, a program that helps students learn about the importance of remembrance and honouring those who served our country. Since River East Transcona first became involved, I have been a proud supporter of the annual event, which brings together Grade 6 students from all Transcona schools to place poppies on veterans’ graves in the Transcona Cemetery Field of Honour. I believe these experiences help young people develop a deeper appreciation for service, sacrifice, and community.
I am committed to supporting opportunities that connect students with local history, encourage citizenship, and strengthen the values of respect and remembrance for future generations.
